The volume of total assets has surged 218-fold to reach KRW 327 trillion in total assets as of the end of December 2015. In 1998, Hana Bank was ranked 578th among The Banker's Top 1000 World Banks. A mere 17 years later, Hana Financial Group stands at 81st worldwide, based on Tier 1 capital.
