STATE BANK OF MYSORE
In 1913, at the behest of Sir M. Visvesvaraya, the State Engineer, a State-assisted Bank was established under the patronage of His Highness the Maharaja of Mysore, Sri Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, who was "MYSORE BANK LTD". In 1953, Mysore Bank was appointed agent of the Reserve Bank of India to undertake business and treasury operations of the Government and in March 1960 became a subsidiary of the State Bank of India under the State Bank of India, Law of 1959. Our bank is now an Associated Bank under the State Bank Group.
